Who it’s for
Plastic, facial plastic, ENT and maxillofacial surgeons
Ideal for surgeons performing – or preparing to perform – functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty who want structured, cadaver-based training in open structural techniques. Suitable for senior residents and fellows in accredited programs with basic rhinoplasty principles.

What you will gain
Translate cadaver-based rehearsal into real rhinoplasty capability – from functional airway correction to structural, aesthetic refinement.
Rhinoplasty practice profile
- You are a plastic, facial plastic, ENT or maxillofacial surgeon – or a senior resident/fellow – treating functional and aesthetic nasal deformity.
- You prefer structured, step-by-step cadaver training over ad-hoc “observe and copy” learning.
- You see post-traumatic or secondary deformities needing framework reconstruction and valve support
- You manage primary functional and aesthetic deformities such as dorsal hump, drooping tip, tension nose or wide bony vault with airway problems.
- You want to move beyond isolated manoeuvres and build a reproducible open structural rhinoplasty sequence for your cases.
Rhinoplasty planning & execution skills
- Perform a structured preoperative rhinoplasty analysis and create a step-by-step surgical plan.
Expose the nasal framework safely using an open approach while preserving the soft-tissue envelope and blood supply.
Correct septal deformities while maintaining a stable L-strut and harvesting cartilage grafts when needed.
Modify the dorsum and bony vault with controlled techniques that respect airway function and aesthetic lines.
Shape and support the nasal tip using suture and graft techniques tailored to different skin and cartilage types.
Apply structural concepts to improve nasal breathing while simultaneously addressing cosmetic concerns.
Translate cadaver-based rehearsal into your own operating room through appropriate case selection, planning and documentation.
Open structural rhinoplasty sequence
- Open approach exposure and elevation of the soft-tissue envelope with respect for vascular supply.
- Septal correction and preservation of a stable L-strut, including cartilage harvesting.
- Dorsal hump management and dorsal refinement, using reduction or preservation concepts.
- Controlled lateral and medial osteotomies for narrowing and straightening the bony vault.
- Structural tip techniques: columellar support, tip sutures and grafting for definition, projection and rotation.
- Spreader and alar graft concepts for internal and external valve support.
- Closure, splinting and strategies to reduce postoperative oedema and complications.

Most Common Questions
All three modules are built for practicing surgeons who need more than occasional workshops – they need realistic cadaver dissections, repetition of key steps and honest discussion of complications. Each day combines focused online preparation with full-day fresh-frozen lab work, so you arrive ready to operate and leave with a clear plan to translate what you learned into your own practice.
